The company started its activity in 1991 as a wood processing company and three years later produced the first bee hives. In 1994-1997 "Wilara" was the only company to manufacture bee hives industrially. Popularity of company's production grew very quickly: beekeepers came to buy beehives event from the most distant end of Lithuania - Skuodas, Švenčionėliai, Klaipėda, Tauragė, Zarasai. Beekeepers were not the only ones to favor our quality and design decisions. 16 and 22 frames Dadant beehives produced in "Wilara" won the highest rating in national lithuanian beekeepers festival held in Šiauliai in 1995. One year later our 10 frames beehive with a wire-mesh bottom was recognized the most original.
A few companies and some beekeepers had started producing copies of "Wilara's" beehives. In 1997 began the cooperation with the Polish, Czech and German beekeeping equipment manufacturers. Thus, thanks to this company, the range of products offered to lithuanian beekeepers expanded significantly.
"Wilara" produces modernized Dadant beehives "Klasika", various types of frames. In our shop one can buy multi-body hives, honey extractors, bee queen breeding appliances, tanks for honey and other beekeeping equipment. The company's produced and imported goods can be found in almost every beekeeping supplies store in the whole country. Wax candles which decorate the house, creates special mood and are produced in "Wilara" are well known in Lithuania too. One can also buy forms for manufacturing candles, wicks, other goods.

"Wilara" path:
1994 - manufactured first bee hive;
1995 - presented our products in national lithuanian beekeepers festival held in Šiauliai where we won an award for our original construction of traditional beehive;
1996 - in national lithuanian beekeepers festival held in Kaunas won an award for multi-body beehive with a wire-mesh bottom;
1997- established the first international relations (with Germany, the Czech Republic and Poland);
2001 - opened beekeeping supplies shop in Prienai;
2001 - began threshing bee bread;
2003 - started a wax foundation production line;
2003 - moved to a new production premises;
2004 - shop moved to a new 70 sq. m premise;
2006 - produced bee bread threshing machine and dryer - decrystalizer;
2006 - published first in Lithuania beekeeping equipment catalog having 407 pictures and an assortment of almost 600 products and goods.
